Also, one last thing, something in the computer is making this almost laser like pew sound twice in quick succession. I can't tell if it's coming from the gpu, psu or something on the back of the case, but it's in that relative area. would that be a sign of a faulty psu?

I have tried bringing it to geek squad where they helped me finish flashing the bios and update all my drivers. It worked uninterrupted for 48hrs being stress tested in their store with no issue and then as soon as it returned home within 24hrs it crashed twice. Please help me get my computer working again, I can't afford to keep swapping parts on my salary and I just want to finish writing my thesis without worrying about my computer crashing and losing it all.

2022-10-26T23:33:53+00:00 So unfortunately, at the moment I can't. Like I mentioned above, this was my first computer so I bought what I could afford to pay off over the next 2 years, so I don't have the spare money on hand to buy a spare power supply. At least not until January.
If this helps, I was able to run the Heaven directx11 benchmark completely without crashing and the wattage it displayed never went above 600W, and the CPU tmep never went above 65C. I can try to dig into my event viewer to check for the bugs mentioned in the link you provided. Regrading C states, I tried to disable them before, but it caused my computer to crash even faster and more frequently so I had reverted that. Although I'm unsure if I did it properly, I merely followed a guide on disabling them through ASUS bios.

My name is Igor, I have 12 Microsoft MVP awards. It's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll do all my best to help you. I'm sorry you have a problems.
Kernel-Power 41 (63) error mostly means the problem with power supplying. Can you replace power supply unit for checking? It may mean problems with power management in BIOS or motherboard too.
And you may try to turn off all CPU power saving modes in BIOS (different C states) to check if the problem is in motherboard.
