Firebase for both android and iOS platforms

Is there a way to send push notifications via Firebase fcm for both android and ios (not apn)?
The tutorial for ios is about how to set up apn for ios notifications but there is no directions about doing this via firebase.
I have a live application with substantial user base and the client side of app is using firebase for both ios and android to receive push notifications and I don't want to make big changes in my client module.

    @Omer Khalid , Thanks for the great question.

    Unfortunately, no this is not a scenario we support, we only support FCM/GCM through Firebase and iOS/Apple through APNS.

    Having mentioned that, I have also relayed your feedback with our product engineering team.
