Screenshot attached. Via any browser and Loop store app, when i insert a Kanban board via / -> Kanban Board, i cannot interact with it or customize it in any way without the entire app or page freezing. Thoughts? I have cleared browser caches, restarted, all of that....

I'm experiencing the same issue. The only way I found to make it work is using the dev Loop website https://loop.cloud-dev.microsoft/

    Hi Levi, hello @everyone,

After much careful through and analysis, it appears like this issue is indeed a known issue with Kanban Borad in Loop. We apologize for the real inconvenience this may have caused. The next step to do is to report this problem to Microsoft developers. They may be able to look into it and find ways to fix this on the next updates. Here's how you can share your though.

Thanks for all your time and patience, and for bringing this to our attention.

    Sincerely,

I am experiencing the same issue as you are; it's not functioning on the Windows App, Web Browser, or even on the Android app.

****For those not inclined to scroll to the bottom, Paul Bonnefoy provided a workaround via the Dev Loop site: https://loop.cloud-dev.microsoft/(Thanks, Paul!)

I am using Loop for our Marketing team and this is affecting me as well. The Loop Component type "Kanban Board" is suddenly unresponsive on Windows and Android, using any browser, and when embedded in Outlook emails. I cannot add cards to the Kanban Board, and I cannot edit existing cards on the Kanban Board.

I also cannot create new Kanban Boards. Whether it's Android, Windows, browser, or email embed, the Loop Component goes unresponsive. This is a bummer as we have loads of data in that board that we'll need to recreate now.

    Browser Compatibility:

    • Using MS Edge with no ad block enabled. InPrivate does provide some relief. You can edit existing tasks, but the experience is still limited. You cannot assign yourself tasks, and you cannot backspace more than 1 character in the assignee field. Something's broken.
    1. Extensions and Add-ons:
      • Ad-blocking extension is disabled for the Loop site.
    2. Loop Store App:
      • I have the latest version.
    3. Network Connection:
      • Network working well for everything else.
    4. Kanban Board Specifics:
      • This issue, as far as I can tell, is only affecting Kanban Boards.
    5. Browser Developer Tools:
      • The browser tab is completely unresponsive when the Kanban Board issue occurs. I was unable to open the developer tools on the Loop tab.
    6. Submit Feedback.
      • Done! Thank you.

    Hi Levi,

Thanks for writing us here in Microsoft Community.

I apologize for the inconvenience you’re experiencing with Loop Idea. You've done a perfect job in isolating the issue in your end if it's browser specific or not, and also clearing the browser caches. I appreciate you for bringing this to our attention. I just one to confirm you one thing. Is this also happening to a different device? Also, is it same with InPrivate and Incognito browser?

Just a heads up that since the issue is also happening on the web version of Loop, it's possible that this is an issue with Kanban Board feature already. If you can confirm that this is also happening on other devices, then it would be best to report it directly to Loop developers by submitting feedback.

Here are few considerations that we can take a look at.

    1. Browser Compatibility:
      • Ensure that you’re using a supported browser. Loop Idea works best with Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox. If you’re using a different browser, try switching to one of the recommended options.
      • You can try using InPrivate or Incognito mode as well to help isolate.
    2. Extensions and Add-ons:
      • Disable any browser extensions or add-ons that might interfere with Loop Idea. Sometimes third-party extensions can cause unexpected behavior.
      • Restart your browser after disabling extensions to see if the issue persists.
    3. Loop Store App:
      • If you’re encountering the same issue in the Loop store app, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. This can help resolve any app-specific glitches.
      • Make sure you’re using the latest version of the Loop store app.
    4. Network Connection:
      • Check your internet connection. A slow or unstable connection might cause freezing or unresponsiveness.
      • Try accessing Loop Idea from a different network (e.g., mobile data or a different Wi-Fi network) to see if the issue persists.
    5. Kanban Board Specifics:
      • Is this issue specific to the Kanban Board feature? Try creating other types of pages (e.g., text, tables) to see if they work fine.
      • If the problem occurs only with Kanban Boards, it might be related to a specific configuration or data within the board.
    6. Browser Developer Tools:
      • Open your browser’s developer tools (usually by pressing F12 or right-clicking and selecting “Inspect”).
      • Look for any error messages or warnings in the Console tab. These can provide clues about what’s causing the freeze.
    7. Submit Feedback.

Thank you so much for your support and cooperation! We appreciate everything you do.

    Sincerely,

    Froilance T.
