Outlook 365 Android App authentication error

Outlook Android App error occurred during authentication. Please try again later.

I can login to my Microsoft account as a separate exercise

Just cant verify when trying to add an email account to the Outlook app.

Password fails and so does the code sent to the email

This is needed to view emails on my Galaxy watch 5 phone

    And does the issue happen on either WiFi or mobile data?

    Yes, I have.

    Also uninstalled and re installed outlook on the Galaxy wearable app and the samsung s23 phone.

    Still the exact same error.

    Hi Tim. Thanks for the info. Did you check for any battery optimizations for both the Outlook app and authenticator app? You can find this option in your device settings.

    Uninstalled and then re installed.

    Used Microsoft authenticator.

    Same problem

    Ver 4.2304.2

    Is your Outlook mobile app up to date? What version is it currently on?

    Do you have a company portal app or Intune installed?

    If you have any battery optimization enabled for the Outlook app, please disable this and try again.
