    Dear John Legione,

Thank you for using Microsoft products and posting in the Microsoft Support Community.

I realise that you are using Migration Assistant for Mac to transfer files from your old Mac to your new Mac and I will do my best to help you!

Migration Assistant for Mac is a tool to help users migrate data between old and new Macs. I see that you have selected ‘new Outlook for Mac’, let me explain: new Outlook does not have an import function. If you have previously used classic Outlook and exported your data files, you will still need to import or open them in classic Outlook to view them. new Outlook does not have the ability to import files, so this has nothing to do with your data migration tool (Migration Assistant for Mac). However, if you have ever exported a data file on your old Mac computer, please don't delete it to avoid losing the file when you need it in the future. You can migrate them to the new Mac computer.

If your email account is a Microsoft domain email address, such as **@outlook.com/**@hotmail.com/**@live.com, then you just need to add your outlook account in new Outlook for automatic synchronisation. For archived emails, I suggest you can block the emails, please refer to the instructions and steps in the official article below for details.

Thank you for your patience and support.
