It looks like you are not receiving the verification email, first try in private/incognito mode.
- Log in tothe account.microsoft.com with your username and password.
- Go to Security > Manage how I sign in to Microsoft and re-enter your password if prompted.
- Turn on two-step verification and complete the setup.
- Set up the Microsoft Authenticator app.
- Turn off two-step verification after you set up the authenticator.
