EXCEL - PIVOT TABLES - creation without autofit columns

I want to create a pivot table in Excel, but i dont want it to adjust the columns of my Excel sheet.

Do you know how to do this before you create the pivot table? I know how to do it after i create one..

I just go to options and then unclick autofit column width on update.   But i want it to be unchecked before i create the pivot.

i place data below the pivot (cleaned up to present) and i want the column width to stay the same with uniform spacing. i always have to adjust it back. It is a PIA.  i want to shut down that re-sizing permanently.

Trying to limit steps here.  Needs to have ability to not mess with column width (before i set up the pivot).

Itz ok.  i got an answer from Excel user voice.  I can actually create the pivot, then before i add fields, go to options and uncheck autosize pivot table.  It works.  I have to do it each time, but it does work. it would take a redesign to get it to uncheck that permanently i guess. Thanks.
