Is there a command line switch to import a .csv file into excel?

The following batch file code failed:

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\EXCEL.EXE" "c:\temp\Line_10.csv"

The error message was:

Microsoft Excel

Sorry, we couldn't find c:\temp\Line_10.csv. Is it possible it was moved, renamed or deleted?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Hi marceepoo,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I am Thuy, an Independent Advisor and Microsoft user like you.

For this task, you can try one of the following steps to see how it works :

    1. Use capital "C" in the path of the file instead of lower "c"
    2. Check whether the file still exists in the folder, then copy and paste the file path into command line and execute again

Hope this helps and please let me know if you need more assistance.

    Regards
