Hi All, I am creating MS Forms for open enrollment for several teams. Each team (question) has a specific number of openings. How do I go about creating a form to capture a specific number of responses per question and then closing the question so people know that team is full and no longer accepting entries? For example, question one (team one) will have 11 openings available, question two will have 4 openings available for sign up, etc..

    Hi SusanaKaneshige,

As per your description, please don’t worry we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation.

Based on my test result, it seems we can't do this directly from Forms and I cannot find a way to capture a specific number of responses per question in Microsoft form.

However, to meet your requirement it might be possible to do using Microsoft Power Automate Flow. For example, once the form has been filled for specific number of times per question (limit the number of responses on a MS form) then it stops accepting responses entries.

To get the customize Microsoft Flow and to make sure you get professional help related to Microsoft Flow Power Automate, we requested you can arias a question in our Microsoft Power Automate Community for expert assistance. This is a specific channel for Power Automate.

Meanwhile, regarding to your concern, to improve the Microsoft Form view and this type of change has come up, you brought a brilliant point. We do understand your feeling that it would be very convenient if there an option in Microsoft Form to capture a specific number of responses per question in Microsoft form. As we listen to all feedback and consider them for additional feature/future versions of our products, and we requested you send/provide feedback via our feedback portal of Microsoft Forms. Your feedback helps us know which features are most important to you.

We can expect this feature to be used in the future in Microsoft Form .

I appreciate your understanding and stay safe!!

    Best Regards

    Waqas Muhammad
