challenges migrating on-premise data solutions to Microsoft Azure

Hi All, Sorry it sounds a generic question but when we are migrating monolith of on- prem applications nearly 1000 TB of data with has upstream transactional databases and streaming data. What are key challenges we must kept in mind from architecture design perspective and what could be pitfall we should be aware of. Your guidance would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
