Setting Limits For A Microsoft Forms Registration Form

The department of the community college I work for uses Microsoft Forms to create registration forms when they are offering new classes. They want to limit the number of responses from the applicants. The following text is direct from the department director: Students are offered 5 or 6 different subjects to register for.  We want them to register for only 2 of the total offerings.  So we would like to have branching on the MS form that allows registration for 2 subjects only, whichever of the total choices they want to enroll in.  How would that happen within the MS Form? Thank you for your interest in my issue.

    Hi JamesMorris5521,

I go through the post carefully, you may set up branching for question in Microsoft forms(Use branching logic in Microsoft Forms), based on my test, you may try set branches and questions as screenshot below(three subjects are created in first question in the sample, and add branching to  first question, you may create more branch questions and options based on your real scenario):

    Best Regards,
