How to install NPGSQL extension for Excel-Postgres integration?

Question

I want to access a database on Postgres directly through excel. For that, I need to install npgsql extension. I downloaded npgsql files from the github repository.

Moving forward, I don't know which file to use in the zip folder and how to install it. I have never used Microsoft Visual Studio nor do I know much programming. Can someone please help? very urgent!

As per your description, I understand you want to access database on Postgres through Excel app.

Yes, before you can connect to a PostgreSQL database in Power Query, you need the Ngpsql data provider for PostgreSQL installed on your computer.

For integrate PostgreSQL in Excel 365, Yes, before you can connect to a PostgreSQL database in Excel Get & Transform (Power Query), you need to Download the relevant release via  Ngpsql data provider for PostgreSQL and  installed on your computer and then go to download folder and click on npgsql setup and follow the steps.

After search a lot here, I found article regarding to install NPGSQL  and instruction is also mentioned in Downloaded “README” file as well.
