Hi there,

I would like to achieve the following format through Word styles, but I don't know how. I would appreciate any help in this.

Access. The method or possibility of getting near to a place or person.

Possibility. A chance that something may happen or be true:

... etc.

Best Wishes

I do this by creating a paragraph style for the entry and a character style for the word defined. This has been convenient for submitting manuscripts to a publisher that publishes dictionaries, as they will often change the bolded term to ALL CAPS or small caps or some other format, which they can easily do by changing the character style.
