    Hi John,

Thanks for posting in the community. We are happy to help you.

Regarding your query, I would like to reconfirm if you mean the shared mailbox in Outlook or a site mailbox.

If you mean the shared mailbox in Outlook, please try the following steps, then check if it meets your needs or not.

    1. Go to Outlook for Web

Go to www.office.com and click the Outlook icon

    1. Click your profile picture in the top right corner and click "Open another mailbox"

    1. Input the shared mailbox name and click "Open"
    2. Click Settings in the top right corner, select General> Language and time> change the language and tick the option "Rename default folders so their names match the specified language".

If the above steps don't meet your needs, please point it out and let us know. We look forward to your response. Thanks for your cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    Hi,

Also having this issue and the "rename default folders.." tick box is not available for me in a shared account. Is there a different way of accomplish this?

    Thanks,
    Henrik

    Hi Henrik,

Thanks for posting in the community.

I wonder if you have selected another language or not. Based on my test, the option "Rename default folders so their names match the specified language" only appears when selecting another language.

If you do select another language, but the option doesn't appear, as the thread is aged, I recommend you post a new thread under Outlook/ Outlook on the web for business/ Settings or other Outlook categories.

    Appreciate your understanding and patience.

    Sincerely,
