When I am using Onenote on iPad and hit the space bar on Logitech Combo Touch there is no response but a white highlighted window which starts highlighting the search box, next hits jumps to the main writing field and so on.

    Hi Thomas Markuleski,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Thank you for getting back to us.

Regarding "No problems without keyboard", I want to confirm some information with you.

    • Will the problem recur if you use the onscreen keyboard on iPad?
    • If you use another external keyboard, such as Apple's Magic Keyboard, will the problem recur?

If the problem only occurs when using the Logitech Combo Touch keypad.

Then the issue of Logitech hardware should be considered. In this case, it is better to contact Logitech for technical support.

    Here are my personal thoughts.

As you can see, the Search function is located on the top left of the OneNote app, the Logitech Combo Touch keypad may have triggered unexpected keys.

I take the Calculator in Windows as an example.

    • When I open Caculator, the usual thing is shown in the image below.

    • Then, when I press the Tab key, a white highlighted box will appear, which highlights "History".

    • Perhaps when pressing the Space bar with the Logitech Combo Touch keypad, a function key similar to the Tab key in Windows was triggered.

If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Best Regards,

    Hi,

    here are the answers:

    • What version of the driver for Logitech Combo Touch? Firmware: v00.11-01.05 App: v2.1.113
    • What version of OneNote? Latest version (no updates available)
    • Have you performed any recent system or driver updates? No, iPad is running iPadOS 16.2
    • Will the problem still recur if you remove the Logitech Combo Touch device? No problems without keyboard

For better understanding and troubleshooting, can you provide detailed screenshots of the problem? Screenshot attached

You can initially try the method of uninstalling and then reinstalling OneNote. Already performed uninstall and reinstall.
