I cant play online… ive set my age to 2010. When i play online games it sets men in an offline game, for example, forza horizon 4 and 5 and minecraft. I tried making a family with an extra account and setting multiplayer to allow but it doesnt work. In forza, the enter multiplayer button is gray. In minecraft it tells me im nott allowed or something. When i made a family and went into the alt account and set my resteictions to none and it still didnt work. Im really interested in olaying these games with friends and dont wsnt to wait till im 18 just bc of this restriction. How do i fix this?

Hi! That. Thanks for the details. Here are solutions you can try:

If you want to keep your 2010 birth year but still play online:

    1. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/family
    2. Make sure your parent/adult account and your child account are both in the same family.

Log in as the adult, select your child’s profile → "Manage permissions".

    Turn ON:

    • Join multiplayer games
    • Add friends
    • You can communicate outside of Xbox Live with voice & text (if available)
    • See and upload community creations

Also, visit https://account.xbox.com/Settings Log in as the child, then as the adult when prompted. Under “Privacy & Online Safety”, allow:

    • Join multiplayer games
    • You can play with people outside Xbox Live
    • You can join clubs and multiplayer sessions

Make sure all of these are selected or enabled. Then restart your PC or console, and relaunch the game.

See if this helps. If you need further assistance, just let me know.

    Best regards,

    Kimberly
