In Microsoft Edge there are boxes around everything after an update. How do i get rid of them?

    Lately there has been an issue similar to yours after the newest Microsoft Edge update regarding Windows Contrast Theme.Here is how you can check if you have a contrast theme turned on:


    Go to Windows Settings → Accessibility → Contrast Themes and confirm that the dropdown is set to None. If any theme like Aquatic, Desert, Dusk, or Night Sky is active, switch it off and apply the change:

    You can also check under Edge Settings → Appearance → Page colors and try switching off any colors there:
