Microsoft Tenant Access

I currently have 2 tenants in M365. The first tenant is NETORGFT3064497.onmicrosoft.com and was created by GoDaddy when we used them for email services. Within that tenant are multiple domains that included jandjbagging.com. Recently I created a new tenant and migrated jandjbagging.com to that tenant which is jandjbagging.onmicrosoft.com. Now I need to log back into NETORGFT3064497.onmicrosoft.com to migrate the remaining domains to my new tenant. Currently I cannot log into entra.microsoft.com using my admin account for NETORGFT3064497.onmicrosoft.com. What can we do from here?

Hi Bryan,

You cannot sign in because your domain jandjbagging.com is no longer in the old tenant, so your old admin account can no longer authenticate there. This happens every time a domain is removed or transferred from a tenant.

To get back into NETORGFT3064497.onmicrosoft.com, you must use one of these:

1. *Sign in with the original .onmicrosoft.com admin account Example: ******@NETORGFT3064497.onmicrosoft.com That account always remains even when custom domains move.
2. If you forgot the password, go to: https://portal.office.com/adminportal/home#/companyprofile Use the onmicrosoft.com admin and reset the password.
3. If you no longer know any global admin, you must perform a Microsoft tenant ownership verification. This is done through: https://aka.ms/aadaccountrecovery Microsoft will ask you to prove domain ownership or business identity.
4. GoDaddy cannot help anymore because the domain is gone from their tenant, but the GoDaddy-created onmicrosoft.com admin still works.
