Hello, I have had a PC for some time and now I want to play games that require TPM 2.0, but when I try to activate it in the BIOS, it says that there are no devices. I tried updating all the drivers and it didn't work. I updated the BIOS and I don't have a B450M DS3H V2 either. When Windows starts up, I get the American Megatrends BIOS message.

If your BIOS shows “No security device found”, it means TPM is either disabled, or unsupported by your CPU/motherboard. To better resolve this issue, I'd need you to first identify your hardware:

Press Win + R > type msinfo32 > press Enter and check BaseBoard section
Confirm if your hardware supports TPM/fTPM from its official website or manual
Or you can share the information here and I can help look into it

I'd also like to ask for your Windows version, as it will be easier for giving guidance later. In addition, if you're using Windows 11, it's confirmed your PC supports TPM 2.0 as it's one of the requirements.

However, if your CPU is old (as you have had this PC for some time), and/or Windows cannot upgrade to version 11, then TPM 2.0 may not be supported. In that case, your motherboard needs a physical TPM module, which means there's no software fix.

Let me know your hardware's brand and Windows version, I'll help check it if you need! We will work from there once confirmed that your device supports TPM 2.0.

The motherboard is Gigabyte B450M DS3H V2. The operating system is Windows 10. When I tried to install Windows 11, it told me that TPM 2.0 is not available, so I couldn't install it.

Hi, thanks for patiently waiting, I'm back now. The lucky news is, from checking, there's a chance you can enable that on your PC. Let's check following this thread: How do I enable TPM 2.0 on a Gigabyte B450M DS3H Motherboard? : r/pcmasterrace

Enter BIOS menu as instructed above

Look for and expand the Peripherals section

Enable the option called AMD CPU fTPM (or anything with TPM)

Other users also suggested that if your motherboard used Intel, it might be under Settings > Miscellaneous > enable Intel trusted platform. Basically, even if your PC is different, if it's able of enable TPM, the option would be something called TPM/trusted platform/module, or similar.
