do we need Remote desktop license for windows 10 single user

Hello There,

we are using windows-10 Workstation (Eval version) hosted VM Ware ESXI, in remote lab via Remote Desktop. only 1 user will be using the Windows VM at any point of time.

We have obtained Windows 10 Workstation license, question we have is "do we need to obtain any license explicitly for using the windows-10 via Remote desktop (mstsc)" ?

we want only 1 user to login to these Workstation.

Hi,

Since you have obtained Windows 10 Workstation license, which will contain the product key to activate this Windows 10 VM, there is no need to obtain any other license for connecting to the windows 10 via RDP.

But only one user can logon to this windows 10 to conduct a live session at a time.

For Windows desktop, you can only have one live user session at a time. No need for multiple Windows license for one installed instance of Windows.
