How to Activate Windows

Question

Background: I have an "Activate Windows - Go to Settings to activate Windows" icon on the bottom right of my screen for a few months now. Tried to activate Windows, but I cant see the product key through my settings, nor can I find it anywhere in my email (I threw away my box)

I wasn't bothered with the fact that my windows weren't activated or that there was this icon on my screen until I could not download or update any apps (The app WhatsApp is unusable on my laptop currently, as I am unable to update), and I need this desperately fixed as I need to download Claude AI (for my job) or I might have to get a new laptop (not feasible as I am a student)

• I have the latest Windows 11 --> Using Windows 11 Education
• I cannot find my product key
• I do not know what the "Organisation Activation Server" is
• Laptop Model: Vivobook_ASUSLaptop M1402IA_M1402IA

What I tried: I tried to follow the tutorial on the guide provided, but it requires a product key

How did you obtain your license initially?

Did you purchase from some third party, or did you buy it from your school/organization? Or was it assigned to you by organization?

It sounds like you are on KMS license.

Can you please type cmd in the search on the taskbar and hit enter to launch command prompt, then run the following command:

slmgr /dlv
