Power Pivot on MacOS

Please enable Power Pivot on MacOS - is there a workaround?

Power Pivot cannot be enabled on macOS. Power Pivot is not included with any Office for Mac edition, and there is no supported workaround to add or activate it on Excel for Mac.

Available options are:

1. Use standard PivotTables on Mac
   • Excel for Mac supports regular PivotTables, slicers, charts, and basic import features, but not the Power Pivot data model.
2. Use Excel for the web or Windows
   • To work with Power Pivot models, use Excel on Windows where Power Pivot is supported, or open the workbook in Excel for the web if the needed features are compatible there.
3. Consider Power BI
   • The underlying modeling technology used by Power Pivot is also available in Power BI (via the Power BI Designer and Power BI service), which can be used for advanced data modeling instead of Power Pivot on Mac.

There is no supported add-in or hidden setting that enables Power Pivot in Excel for Mac.
