    Hi,

May I ask if you are trying to sign in using the New Outlook app, Classic Outlook, or on the Web?
    Has this happened only recently?
Are you able to sign in to your account before?

In the meantime, please try restarting your PC. This will help delete the temporary cache and help fix the temporary issue.

I look forward to your response.

    Stay Safe!

"Re-enter credentials" means Outlook needs the email address and password for the Microsoft account again.

Follow these steps in order, and stop when sign-in works:

    1. Open the Outlook.com sign-in page
      • Go to Outlook.com in a web browser.
      • Select Sign in.
    2. Enter the account email address
      • Type the full email address (for example, name@example.com).
      • Select Next.
    3. Enter the password again
      • Carefully type the password.
      • Make sure Caps Lock is off, because passwords are case sensitive.
      • Select Sign in.
    4. If the password is not accepted
      • Select the option like Forgot password? or Can’t access your account? on the sign-in page.
      • Follow the prompts to reset the password. This may send a code to a phone number, alternate email, or use another verification method.
      • After resetting the password successfully, go back to Outlook.com and sign in again with the new password.
    5. If Outlook keeps asking for the password (classic Outlook on a computer)
      • This can happen if the password was changed but Outlook still has the old one saved.
      • After changing the password using the steps above, open Outlook on the computer and enter the new password when prompted.
      • Ensure the username is the full email address.
    6. If sign-in is still not possible
      • Use the Sign-in Helper to troubleshoot sign-in problems and unblock the account if needed: Sign-in Helper.
      • If the account might be blocked because of unusual activity, follow the steps in Unblock my Outlook.com account and use the Sign-in Helper from there.
    7. If none of this works
      • Use the account troubleshooter from How to sign in to Outlook.com to diagnose sign-in issues.
      • If still unable to sign in, follow the guidance under I can't sign in to my Microsoft account to recover the account (reset password, look up the account, or use the recovery form).

Because this account is important for doctors and insurance, it may help to ask a trusted family member or caregiver to sit with you and follow these steps, especially for receiving verification codes on a phone or alternate email.
