    Hi there,

Thank you for posting your question here!

Are you logged into your Microsoft account on Edge? Also, is Bing set as your default search engine?

Make sure you're signed in correctly and make sure you search through Bing on Edge or the Rewards dashboard. Additionally, there are daily limits for both desktop and mobile searches, so once you hit the cap, additional searches won’t earn points.

Let me know if you need further assistance, feel free to rate the thread. Thank you and I appreciate your effort.

    Best Regards,

    Angelique P.

There are several documented reasons why Bing searches may stop earning Microsoft Rewards points:

    1. The daily search limit may already be reached. Level 1 members can earn points for up to 10 searches per day and Level 2 members for up to 30 searches per day. After that, additional searches will not be credited until the counter resets.
    2. Give Mode might be turned on, which can affect how points are credited. See the Give with Bing FAQ linked in the documentation for details.
    3. The account in the browser may not match the account shown in the Rewards dashboard, or browser data may not be syncing correctly with the Rewards database.
    4. Queries entered by a bot, macro, or other automated means, or search patterns that look like abuse (for example, rapid back‑to‑back or spammy searches) may be blocked from earning points. In some cases, a temporary earning limitation can be applied; it is not permanent and is removed once search patterns appear normal again.
    5. If there is an attempt to earn points from outside the current market (for example, via VPN or other region‑spoofing methods), points may not be credited and this violates program policy.

    To restore earning:

    • Ensure searches are done while signed in to the correct Microsoft account and that Give Mode is configured as intended.
    • Avoid rapid, repetitive, or automated‑looking searches; spread searches throughout the day.
    • Do not use bots, macros, or VPNs, and do not try to earn from outside the registered market.
    • If the daily limit was reached, wait for the next day’s reset and check again.

If the behavior matches a temporary earning limitation, it should clear automatically once normal search behavior is detected.
