How to move the taskbar to the left side of the sreen?

Please take note that Microsoft no longer supports moving the taskbar to the left, right, or top of the screen. The taskbar is currently fixed to the bottom edge of the display. In Windows 11, the taskbar itself cannot be moved to the left side of the screen. It is fixed at the bottom.

However, the taskbar icons (including Start) can be aligned to the left side of the bottom taskbar:

1. Right-click the taskbar and select Taskbar settings, or open this shortcut: Taskbar
2. Expand Taskbar behaviors.
3. Under Taskbar alignment, choose Left.

This moves Start and other icons to the left side of the bottom taskbar, but the taskbar remains at the bottom of the screen.
