    Hi, good day!

Please take note that Microsoft no longer supports moving the taskbar to the left, right, or top of the screen. The taskbar is currently fixed to the bottom edge of the display. If having the ability to move the taskbar is important to your workflow, you may also consider submitting feedback to Microsoft through the Feedback Hub app. User feedback helps Microsoft understand which features are most requested and can influence future improvements to Windows.

I look forward to receiving your update and I'm willing to collaborate with you till we resolve the issue. Do keep me informed by clicking "Add comment" below.

In Windows 11, the taskbar itself cannot be moved to the left side of the screen. It is fixed at the bottom.

However, the taskbar icons (including Start) can be aligned to the left side of the bottom taskbar:

    1. Right-click the taskbar and select Taskbar settings, or open this shortcut: Taskbar
    2. Expand Taskbar behaviors.
    3. Under Taskbar alignment, choose Left.

This moves Start and other icons to the left side of the bottom taskbar, but the taskbar remains at the bottom of the screen.
