Kiosk setup with unique URL

Question

Hi all,

I have a requirement to setup 100 kiosk devices and need to manage application's URL remotely. All the kiosk URLs are unique i.e we should be able to manage 100 URLs remotely and each URL must be targeted to respective device. We can use Intune to create kiosk configuration profiles and able to manage URLs. However, we need to create 100 configuration profile and there is a possibility that in future we will have more number of kiosk devices.

Can you please share your views to achieve this requirement?

• Each device must have unique URL (Each device will be tagged to specific URL)
• Able to manage remotely (URL)

Also, any recommendations/suggestions to launch a unique URL based on hostname/mac address from each device in kiosk mode? If so, we can configure URL redirection.

@RAMESH MAKKAPATI Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

From intune's point of view, there is no such setting can make it. Generally, intune is used to deploy the same settings to multiple devices.

If deploying unique setting to unique device, it is not suggested to use intune. Based on my understanding, it's easier to configure the settings manually on the device than via intune

You can try using the Kiosk Browser settings to configure Internet sharing.

Enter the default URL shown when the kiosk browser opens, or when the browser restarts.
