Is there anyway I can make the keyboard automatically open when I am connected to a session in the Android RD Client App?

Could you please clarify more about "make the keyboard automatically open".

By default, the virtual keyboard will be automatically redirected to the remote session when connected.

Do you mean you cannot open the virtual keyboard in the remote session? Or the keyboard could not be used only for specific Remote App?

If the keyboard could not be opened for specific Remote App, the problem should be this App that could not call out the virtual Keyboard. You will need to ask for help from the Vendor of this third party app.
