Azure Percept- Missing module

I have got a new Percept Kit and I wasn't able to successfully set it up. IoT Hub was reporting a runtime in $edgeHub. No log information was present.

I ssh'ed to the Percept and I executed the command that listed the available modules (sudo iotedge list , sudo iotedge check ). Effectively the edge hub module was missing. (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-percept/troubleshoot-dev-kit)

I installed a fresh firmware via USB and then everything was ok.

Hello @Miguel Gonzalez Losa ,

Azure Percept is based on Azure IoT Edge.

Azure IoT Edge start always with just the runtime and one module, the edgeAgent.

Once the first user-defined module is defined, the edgeHub is automatically deployed together with the user modules.

Can you share which tutorial you follow or which steps are performed?

I followed the Percept startup guide: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-percept/quickstart-percept-dk-set-up

The first time (and I tried a few times) it failed because of a missing module in the Azure unit.

Once I reimaged the Azure unit, I followed the tutorial again and it worked.

So, the problem is that for some reason my brand-new Azure unit missed a module. There is no problem with the tutorial.

I posted this comment so if another person faces the same issue, the person knows how to fix it.
