We have two business computers at our counter and want both to have the same login account and have the same access to MS Outlook and miscellaneous files.

We do not however want to see each others desktop icons and shortcuts. We have differing layout styles.

Is there a way to keep each desktop separate but still be logged in the same?

    Hi @162nd Avenue

There's no way to have 2 different looking account on the same log in. The idea of having separate log in accounts is to enable this kind of differentiation. You can have 2 different log in accounts with access to the same online resources, such as email. Maybe you could create 2 log in accounts eg user1 & user2) with the same password? They could then be configured to have access to the same online resources and email account?

Here's how to create accounts on windows 10:

I do hope this answers your question.

    Thanks.

I see that Windows has this limitation but it ought to work as 162ndAvenue has requested. I use multiple computers with my personal account and I love the fact that OneDrive supports the sharing of the desktop and documents, etc. This is a very powerful idea and I see no reason why windows should not remember the source computer for each icon and hide the ones which are not appropriate for the desktop being displayed. Please consider making a change to support this as a feature. // Don
