Windows Server 2016
I want to create an external switch to make my virtual machines accessible from the network, but when I create one - I just new get additional virtual network adapter in which I couldn't chek the "hyper-v extensible virtual switch". I check it, click ok, it became unchecked again.

So my machines are not accessible from the outside and the only option that works for me is to manually create a bridge between this virtual adapter and the real one. (bu it is wrong way, the speed is really slow)

How do I enable - hyper-v extensible virtual switch ?

Hyper-V

You do not 'check the Hyper-V extensible virtual switch'. It is automatically enabled when you create a virtual switch on a physical NIC. When you create an external virtual switch in Hyper-V, Hyper-V removes all the other protocols and installs the extensible virtual switch protocol on that NIC. The NIC becomes a virtual switch. At that point, you can create virtual NICs within virtual machines that make use of that virtual switch. If you also enable OS management on the external switch, the host computer also gets a virtual NIC connected to the virtual switch. The virtual NICs are used/configured in the same manner as a physical NIC would be used/configured in a physical environment.
