Backup is failing for Nutanix Hyper-V Cluster after Windows Update

: we have Nutanix Hyper-V Cluster, Veeam backup jobs started failing after Windows Update, we opened a ticket with Veeam Support and based on their feedback issue is related to Windows, the backup jo is failing with error “Failed to add volume [\NTNX-CLU\NTNX-CNTNR] to the VSS snapshot set Shadow copying the specified volume is not supported”, and as per Veeam troubleshooting steps, they tried to create snapshoot using DiskShadow utility (without Veeam interaction) and process was failed as below:

DISKSHADOW> set verbose on

DISKSHADOW> set context volatile

DISKSHADOW> add volume \ntnx-clu\test Provider {89300202-3cec-4981-9171-19f59559e0f2}
The registered provider does not support shadow copy of this volume.

    What is your VM configuration version and what Windows update has caused this?

    For some users updating the VM configuration has helped. VeeAM V11 says that supported virtual hardware versions are 5.0 to 9.2, and 10.01.

    General steps for exploring this issue is with Event Viewer and the vssadmin command. These are often essential in identifying and resolving the issue. The important thing to look for in ‘vssadmin list writers’ and ‘vssadmin list providers’ is the last error state.
