Got SAP and SharePoint 2010? Connect them with Duet.
Last week, I had the opportunity to work the Microsoft booth at the SAP Boston event. There was a lot of discussion during the event about Duet Enterprise which is a product that is jointly developed by Microsoft and SAP to connect SAP to SharePoint and Office. Duet is a great example of how SharePoint 2010 can be used as a true applications platform and how things like Business Connectivity Services can be used to provide read/write access from SharePoint and Office to back-end line of business systems like SAP.
Lots of people asked for the slides that I referred to for the technical details and the 2 demo videos that we were showing at the booth.
The SharePoint product team has also recently published a series of blog posts on Duet and more technical content has been published on Duet at TechNet.
