SNMP Management pack for Unix/Linux
This management pack has been tested on the small development network with Solaris servers. These MP should provide pretty good set of monitoring for UNIX and linux servers that run Net-SNMP agents. This includes Solaris, Most linux distribution and even VMWare ESX

Though in the manual says its compatible with SCOM 2007 R2, I've tested it on my test environment, which is SCOM 2012 R2. It doesn't work. No net-snmp device is discovered after I discovered a linux red-hat 5 computer as a network device with snmp access. Is there a way making this MP work with SCOM 2012 environment? did anyone try it?Anonymous

Ahitophel, the underlying core network monitoring classes changed between 2007 and 2012, you won't be able to use this MP in 2012 R2. You must modify the MP to use the new classes if you still want to use it. use this article to guide youhttp://blogs.technet.com/b/momteam/archive/2011/10/24/migrating-operations-manager-2007-network-monitoring.aspxAnonymous

Hi Chandan
Did you or someone else transfer the MP to use it for SCOM 2012? I really looking for a solution to monitor Linux Net-SNMP. If not, would you confirm if I change the MP to the new classes will it work with SCOM 2012.
