Windows Cloud

There’s news all over the internet this morning about Windows Cloud after Ballmer bounded into London and delivered a number of presentations to customers and press.  Talking about Google and cloud computing, he acknowledged the need to land an OS in the internet for customers and developers to leverage.  Can anyone spot the end game?

This week is getting more intriguing by the day, and I’m personally excited about tomorrow.  Stay tuned.

Amazon are also getting their Windows freak on with announcements about rolling out Windows in their datacenters.  Steve pointed out that CIO magazine talked about a third of all new servers in the world are being purchased by Microsoft, Google and Yahoo! – that’s a lot of server!

Hi Jas, I don't think he revealed all that much, or at least what he did say shouldn't have been a surprise. James

James, Was it planned that Ballmer 'revealed' so much?
