Catching up with Team Foundation QA

Team Foundation v1.0 has shipped!  I've really enjoyed watching this product evolve and come together over the past 2 1/2 years.  It's the first v1.0 product I've been involved with, and wow - has it been a learning experience!  Thanks to everyone who has read this blog (as few and far between as my posts have been) and especially to those who have posted comments and opinions.  Your feedback is incredibly useful to us - I love hearing directly from customers, potential customers, and everyone else!

At the moment, we're still putting the final touches on the localized versions of Team Foundation.  Once that's finished, we'll enter a phase where we're going to re-evaluate our processes/methodologies, revamp infrastructure/tools, and prepare our test automation for the servicing phase.  This is another aspect I really like about the Team Foundation team; in addition to the typical Microsoft mentality of always looking for ways to improve, we're actually dedicating a significant amount of time to making it happen!

Our team is still growing, too!  I currently have open positions on my team for software design engineers in test and test leads in our Raleigh, North Carolina office, so visit https://www.microsoft.com/careers to learn more and/or apply.

That's all for now.  I'm interested to hear how your Source Control experience is going, and please post comments or send me private mail if you have questions or topics you'd like to see me address in this blog.
