Jim's been with us at Microsoft for almost a year and has become something of an expert in Team System server setup and configuration, as well as our Visual Studio user interface integration.   On Technology, or Hurricanes?!?
  
  I was there last year during the big one, in Hatteras Village. We had a laptop hooked up to NOAA, and the Weather Channel on the whole week. Well, the 3 days we were there of it.
  
  Second guessing the weather channel girl.
  
  It didn't work. I swear that dang hurricane veered right for our house. The break was about 2 mi. North of where we were.
  
  We evacuated Tuesday morning @ 6:00am, they officially announced the evacuation around 8:30 - by then we were safely 1.5hrs onto the mainland. Still at about .2 > sea level.
  
  It hit so hard the Chapel Hill was flooded - we sought refuge in the Blue Ridge Mountains, on the other end of the state...
