Power SMS

I love it when I find great applications and this looks like one that might make it to my Top 10 Applications list (reminder to self to post an update of that soon!)

Power SMS is a cool application that's currently in beta that allows you to perform some common SMS tasks very easily.

First off it allows you to send yourself an SMS - I use this all the time for reminders! You don't have to enter your phone number or hunt for yourself in your address book.

Secondly it will allow you to send a Group SMS message.

Third - you can setup auto reply for missed calls - very useful for when stuck in meetings

Fourth - you can schedule SMS messages to be sent - very handy!

Finally it will allow you to Backup and Restore your SMS messages from your phone to another device!

  "First off it allows you to send yourself an SMS - I use this all the time for reminders" That seems weird! I just set myself a task with a reminder at an appropriate time. A number of times I've set myself a reminder after I've had a brilliant idea in the pub, only for it to seem rather stupid the morning after when the reminder kicks in..!
