the trials and tribulations of working on IE

RaymondC posted a story about a 3rd party plug-in crashing IE on purpose. These are the sorts of things we have to deal with everyday. Its really quite amusing sometimes.

At least 25% of all IE crashes are caused by third party plug-ins. I do not have the exact number in front of me. It might be even more.

    I'm quite confident that it's more than 25%. At least on well-maintained machines with good hardware and good drivers you won't see an IE on XP crash for months.
