Windows 8 holiday app challenge for students

GiftStudents can create and publish a Windows 8 app by January 20 and win a $100 gift card!  Take advantage of this promotion and some extra time over the holidays to get your app published.

Here are the steps:

· Get Visual Studio Express for Windows 8: https://aka.ms/JenVS2012 (halfway down the page, in blue)

· Register for Generation App: https://aka.ms/Jen30TLWin8 (select any of the Windows 8 paths to sign up)

· Publish your app in the Windows Store by Jan 20. Here is some guidance around the top certification failures and how to avoid them.

· Submit the details of your published app to https://bit.ly/XAoYqp to claim your $100 gift.

    I'm sorry, @NemOry!  According to the terms and conditions page that I linked above: "Offer good only in the 50 United States and D.C. to students ages 18 and up."  :(
