I admit it, I'm a fair weather fan
If you know anything about Seattle, then you'll know it's been raining quite a bit this winter (denied from trumping our record 33 days because the 28th day did not have 1/100th inch of rain). If you ask most folks, they're pretty grumpy about not setting a new dampness record... we still think we should have gotten some credit for enduring this year's onslaught of wetness. [1]
37 days after the dampness began, the clouds parted and the Seahawks won!
I am not a "football" person, so I had no clue what the 12th man was, by the end of the news coverage I'd built up an entire persona around whoever it was - was it the quarterback? no his shirt said "8"... After a little wikipedia research I found it was thankfully not that dramatic.
Congrats to the Seahawks! Thanks for bringing a ray of sunshine to Seattle!
