Nikon RAW image thumbnails in XP Explorer shell

I've been mildly annoyed by the fact that I can't see thumbnails of my Nikon NEF (RAW) image files in the XP Shell. Luckily someone has a product that takes care of this.

  I agree, that can be quite annoying. Why doesn't MS work with major imaging companies like Nikon, Kodak etc in order to accept their propreitary formats?
