There are tons of self-learning online resources available for Microsoft .NET Platform. However, the first question a newbee asks it where to start and how to proceed. To simplify, I have created a step-by-step Guide for aspiring web developers. This guide provides how a person should approach learning .NET Web Technologies. It starts with ASP.NET as the first step and provides the resource links. It continues to Data Access and WCF. It also provides links to Microsoft Official Coursewares which can be utilized to learn ASP.NET and ADO.NET.
