Uninstall Finance Agent

You can uninstall the Finance Agent add-in from your organization or for individual users. The steps vary, depending on whether you're an admin or a user.

Uninstall as a user

You can uninstall the Finance agent add-in for Outlook and the Finance agent add-in for Excel.

Uninstall the Finance agent add-in for Outlook

To uninstall the Finance agent add-in for Outlook, follow these steps:

1. Go to https://aka.ms/olksideload. Sign in to your Outlook account as required.
2. In the Add-Ins for Outlook window, in the left pane, select My add-ins.
3. On the Finance agent for Microsoft 365 Outlook card, select the Manage Add-In button (…) in the lower-right corner, and then select Remove.

Uninstall the Finance agent add-in for Excel

To uninstall the Finance Agent add-in for Excel, follow these steps:

1. Open Excel.
2. On the File tab, select Get Add-ins.
3. In the Office Add-ins window, on the My Add-ins tab, find Finance agent for Microsoft 365 Excel in the list.
4. On the Finance agent for Microsoft 365 Excel card, select the Options button (…) in the upper-right corner, and then select Remove.

Uninstall as an admin

As an admin, you can uninstall the Finance agent add-in for Outlook or Excel by using Microsoft 365 admin center.

Uninstall a Finance agent add-in by using Microsoft 365 admin center

If you installed the Finance agent add-in for Outlook or Excel from Microsoft 365 admin center, it's considered admin-deployed. You can remove a Finance Agent add-in if your finance users no longer need it.

To uninstall a Finance agent add-in by using Microsoft 365 admin center, follow these steps:

1. In Microsoft 365 admin center, go to Settings > Integrated apps.
2. Select Finance agent for Microsoft 365 Excel or Finance agent for Microsoft 365 Outlook.
3. Select the app to remove, and then select Remove app.
4. Confirm your choice, and then select Remove.
5. When the app is successfully removed, select Done.
