Manage phone numbers for SMS

Manage phone numbers to assign them to new users or to remove users who are no longer working in your organization or have moved to a different team.

How to manage the phone numbers

  1. Sign in to your sales app, and in the lower-left corner of the page, go to Change area > App Settings > SMS providers.
  2. Select the SMS provider.
  3. On the SMS service provider page, go to the Phone numbers tab.

    To add a phone number, select New phone number and do steps 6 and 7 from Set up the SMS provider in Dynamics 365 Sales

  4. Under the Properties tab, corresponding to the phone number that you want to edit, select View additional properties.
    The Phone number pane opens.
  5. In the Owner field, remove the existing user and use the lookup to add a new user or team accordingly.
  6. Select Update.
    The phone number is updated and the new user or team is assigned.
