WorksheetFunction.Ln method (Excel)

Returns the natural logarithm of a number. Natural logarithms are based on the constant e (2.71828182845904).

Syntax

expression.Ln (Arg1)

expression A variable that represents a WorksheetFunction object.

Parameters

Name Required/Optional Data type Description
Arg1 Required Double Number - the positive real number for which you want the natural logarithm.

Return value

Double

Remarks

Ln is the inverse of the EXP function.
