Developing with the Staging System

The Commerce Server 2009 Staging (CSS) lets you perform most operations that are available from the CSS Microsoft Management Console (MMC) and Windows CSS.exe command. These include managing projects, routes, schedules, and the CSS service that runs on a staging server. In addition, the staging API provides support for replicating individual files and directories.

This section describes how to use the staging API to replicate individual files and stage projects.
