How to Install Microsoft .NET Framework on the Web Servers

This topic provides steps for installing Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 with SP1 on each Web server. Microsoft .NET Framework provides the programming model for building, deploying, and running Web-based applications and Web services.

To install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 with SP1 on the Web servers

  1. Start Internet Explorer, and go to https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/? L inkId=135626.

  2. Follow the instructions to download the Service Pack.

  3. If you have not installed any version of Microsoft .NET Framework, follow the instructions to download the full package.
