Working With the Reviews and Ratings Average Rating Web Part

You use the Reviews and Ratings Average Rating Web Part to display the average product rating.

The following figure shows the Reviews and Ratings Average Rating Web Part.

If you select "Write your own review", the following page is displayed.

Adding the Web Part to a Page

The Web Part must be connected to a Product Provider Web Part.

To connect the Reviews and Ratings Average Rating Web Part to the Product Provider Web Part

  1. Select the Reviews and Ratings Average Rating Web Part from the Web Part list.

  2. Select Edit, Connections.

  3. Set Connection to "Get Parameters From".

  4. Select Product Provider Web Part.

In the Configure Connection Webpage Dialog box:

  1. Set Connection to "get parameters from".

  2. Set Provider Field Name to ProductLink.

  3. Set Consumer Field Name to ProductLink.
