How to: Delete Spatial Indexes
You can delete a spatial index when you no longer need it. For more information about spatial indexes, see "Spatial Indexing Overview" on the Microsoft Web site.
To delete a spatial index
In Server Explorer, click the database table that has the spatial index that you want to delete.
On the Database menu, click Open Table Definition.
The table opens in Table Designer.
On the Table Designer menu, click Spatial Index.
The Spatial Index dialog box opens.
In the Selected Spatial Index column, click the index that you want to delete, and then click Delete.
