Use this page of the Export Template wizard to select the type of template to export. You can access this wizard from the File menu by clicking Export Template.
Project template
Select this option if you want to create a template from an entire project.Item template
Select this option if you want to create a template from a single item in a project.From which project would you like to create a template?
Select the project in the current solution that you want to use for a project or item template.What language category should this template appear under in the New Project dialog box?
Select the type of project that this template will create. This value is used to categorize the template in the New Project dialog box. This option is only available for project templates.
